The Order of Malta has been present in Hong Kong since 2007. In 2018, the Hong Kong Association of the Order of Malta Limited (HKAOM, a company limited by guarantee incorporated in Hong Kong) was established in response to a growth in membership. The HKAOM develops its own volunteer programs to serve the local community, while also working collaboratively with other service delivery organisations through its partnership projects.
