Florentine Haeusgen - Vision 2050 Global Youth Coordinator

Florentine Haeusgen is running Vision 2050, the Order of Malta’s global youth volunteering platform since August 2021 in London.

Florentine is 26 years old and entered the world of the Order of Malta in 2015 when she spent one month as a volunteer in Chabrouh, Lebanon at the Order's holiday camps for a group of Lebanese guests suffering from mental and physical disabilities. 

Finding this experience deeply enriching she has since volunteered extensively for the Order of Malta in Germany, Lebanon and South Africa and currently regularly volunteers at an Order of Malta soup kitchen in London. 

Her work with Vision 2050 consists of deepening the links between the Order’s different youth delegations, sharing resources, volunteering opportunities and information about successful projects and encouraging the development of new projects under the flag of the Order and the auspices of their local associations.
