About Order of Malta Vision 2050

Supporting the Priories, Associations and Relief Services of the Order, Vision 2050 invites young people to enter the world of volunteering and become part of the Order of Malta's extended family.

Vision 2050 helps retain active young members in the world of the Order by introducing them to international volunteering opportunities. It supports the youth of the Order in establishing new projects and joint initiatives.

Vision 2050 contributes to a greater identification with and understanding of the Order of Malta and identifies promising candidates for future positions within it.

Vision 2050 provides unique opportunities for young people to volunteer together, sharing powerful experiences in service of others. These life-changing encounters build lasting friendships whilst experiencing their faith in action.

Vision 2050 is a focal point for Order of Malta volunteers to share best practices and collaborate in their activities and discussions beyond national borders.

Vision 2050 helps young members and volunteers to find exciting projects for them and their friends at every stage of life. Volunteering weekly, for a weekend, in the summer holidays or longer – no matter when and where, together with the Order of Malta they can be there for those in need.

Vision 2050 helps young people stay part of the Order of Malta’s family, anywhere in the world, growing in their tasks and shaping the future of the Order of Malta.

Vision 2050 is hosted by the Global Fund for Forgotten People and generously funded by private donations.
