About Order of Malta Medical Clinic Timor Leste

In November 2017 the Order of Malta Medical Clinic opened in Dili and offers free basic primary out of hospital medical care and health education to financially disadvantaged Timorese. Thousands of Timorese have already benefited from the services provided. In 2022 the Clinic added a new dimension to its services by commencing an outreach service to villages outside of Dili. Due to poor transportation infrastructure people living in outlying villages are further disadvantaged by lack of medical assistance.
