Hiking, quadbike riding, and the chance to be artistic: the Order's creative camps in Bulgaria enable 80 children from state institutions to enjoy a much-needed break from their day-to-day environments. In 2021 for the first time the Creative holiday took place on the seaside which many of the children have never visited before. The children, some of whom are disabled, enjoy outdoor activities, make new friends and create artwork which is published each year by the Embassy.
Make these wonderful holidays possible and join us to support the volunteers in Bulgaria in this project.
Requirements
- Language: as most of the children speak only Bulgarian, knowledge of Bulgarian would be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Costs: Travel costs + approx. 200€ for the whole week on site (including accommodation and meals).
- All volunteers must hold a valid Criminal Records Bureau check of your respective country
- Travel insurance
- Minimum age: over 18 years
