About our holiday camp for disabled guests in Albania

Written by Orjeta Cungu

“It’s wonderful – I wish I could spend a whole year at Malteser Albania summer camps!”

The Order’s Relief Service in Albania organized another 1-week summer camp with disabled youngsters. Twenty four disabled guests were welcomed at the camp. Staff and young volunteers of the Albanian Relief Service organized a week full of activities: water and sand games, swimming lessons, cycling, celebrating birthdays and many more wonderful activities. Particularly the day where we went boating and for wonderful walks on the beach has been an unique experience for our guests.

Everybody had the opportunity to take part in various activities and enjoy one week of care-free summer vacation – We cannot wait for our next holiday camp!

“I love the way they cherish us – it was a week full of love and kindness. I love the Malteser camp, I love spending time with all those wonderful young volunteers.”
