Notice of Shutdown of Vision 2050 platform

Dear Vision 2050 Community, 

On 13 April 2023, we received written confirmation from the Grand Magistry that Vision 2050 does not have the support of the new government of the Order of Malta.

It is therefore with great sadness that we inform you of the forthcoming closure of the Vision 2050 platform.

We know that this news will come as a disappointment to you as it has to us.

The platform will officially close on 31 May 2023. Until then, it will still be possible to apply for opportunities that are currently advertised on the platform, but no new opportunities can now be uploaded. 

Just under a year ago we launched this platform, offering young people opportunities to dedicate themselves to the service of Our Lord’s the sick and the poor through the works of the Order of Malta. Since then, with the help of your collaboration and support

• 956 volunteers from 52 countries have registered on the platform.
• 42 entities within the Order from 34 countries have created a sub-page to share opportunities.
• 91 volunteering, internship and job opportunities have been promoted.
• Over 150 volunteers have been placed.

We owe particular thanks to our donors who specifically funded this initiative.
