Young members and volunteers of the Order of Malta
History of involvement with the Order
I joined as a volunteer of the Australian Association of the Order of Malta at the beginning of 2020 and have been involved in organising and coordinating the establishment of the new Order of Malta Volunteers network for young adults aged between 18-35 years. I am a representative of the South-East Region on the organisation committee for this new group.
I have also participated in the 'Coats for the Homeless' program, handing out clothing and hygiene packs to disadvantaged people living in the Melbourne CBD. I also regularly attend online calls with fellow volunteers across Australia to pray the Holy Rosary together through Zoom.
I am interested in volunteering with humanitarian projects both in Australia and overseas, as well as potentially assisting with the formal diplomatic relations of the Order with other nations and intergovernmental organisations. I also have a limited-working proficiency in Italian.
My national hospitaller is John Murphy and his email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
