Young members and volunteers of the Order of Malta
History of involvement with the Order
I have just become an Auxiliary of the Order (2016), but have been privileged to work with the Knights and Dames of the Philadelphia area for a handful of events already, such as their monthly breakfasts where meals are packed and delivered to the homebound via the Aid for Friends program. In 2015, I organized an Advent day of reflection at my workplace (a Norbertine abbey) which many local Knights and Dames participated in. I hope to join the Lourdes Pilgrimage in 2017 and, perhaps, some day, to even be invested as a Knight. Until then, I offer my talents as a sacred musician and liturgist, and my energy as a young husband and father, to the service of our lords the sick and the nurturing of the Faith in whatever way the Order sees fit.
