History of involvement with the Order

I have been a member of the Order of Malta Ambulance Corps since 1998. During my time with the Order of Malta I have served in a number of units around Ireland. Currently I am an Officer In Charge of a Unit in the South East. Our unit provides ambulance cover at events, first aid training, transports members of the public to hospital appointments, assists with Mass runs and Supports other voluntary organizations in our area.

I have taken part in the International Lourdes Pilgrimage over a number of Years. This pilgrimage is particularly close to my heart as I have lived Lourdes for a couple of seasons working with a Travel Agency.
